On arrival reception staff friendly Room a lot bigger than expected. Very comfortable beds huge balcony plenty of facilities. Exceptionally clean . Small issue with flashing light and was sorted immediately.Pool area lovely plenty of sun loungers Excellent restaurant next to the pool very handy huge choice of cuisine and presented lovely . Staff perfect . Location of the hotel is great yes the planes fly over personally i didn't have an issue at all they've passed in seconds and there's not a lot of flights a day . The beach is only a short walk away as is the main ***** of kalamaki . The beach walk to laganas is lovely and not too far .overall a great hotel great resort and something for everyone . I would definitely recommend this none expensive hotel I've paid far more for far worse .

Excellent stay. Large apar**ent. Comfortable beds. Cleaned regularly. Useful little kitchen with everything you need. The pool was busy first thing but we never had any issues finding a bed. Staff very helpful. The delight bar did an excellent breakfast. It is under the flight path but after the first few planes you do not notice the noise. Booked to go again in 24 and 25

Loved this hotel and location we stayed in September 2023 a group u p off 9 we had a fabulous time love every minute rooms are basic but clean there was some problems with the showers hit and miss but they were trying hard to fix it. All staff in the bar area very friendly and spent a few nights playing pool watching sports in the bar we did try to book to come again but it was booked up so always next year would highly recommended this for location right nere the beach and the main ***** the planes are low but nothing that would bother you. Food at the bar was really good and beer a good price

I liked the appearance of the hotel. While the rooms are very basic place, which we knew about before we booked it, it is very pleasing to the eye throughout. The bed we had was soft and comfortable and offered a good night's sleep, and the breakfasts (if you're going on a B&B basis as we did are typical continental style, mini hot dog sausage, bacon, beans sliced meat & cheese, cerial, bread products and so on. The alternative "Paid for breakfasts" you can have there if you are going S/C are as you'd expect are better quality, and being the 'Full English'. I tried one for lunch one day. A very satisfying meal, reasonably priced. €35(ish) for 3 of them and a bowl of chips for the wife. The hotel itself is very good to use as a base if you're planning to be out and about a lot, as it is if you're planning to use the facilities for sunbathing by the pool. Staff are friendly and attentive too. The only bugbear I have with the place is that the rooms are routinely only cleaned every other day, and not daily, but to be fair to the place, I did approach a staff member to ask for our room to be cleaned daily. This was duely arranged and was done on a daily basis from that point onwards. But to me, this ought to be standard procedure for the hotel, without having to be asked to do it and not something that I should have had to ask for. This is a basic hygiene thing to say the least. Soiled toilet paper (along with used nappies, Continence pads etc) if you're holidaying with young children/disabled family members for example as we were festering in the rooms for up to 48 hours in the heat of the day until they're cleaned again is not good at all. This was the only thing that let the place down IMO.

My wife and I have just returned from staying a week at this hotel in the village of kalamaki. The hotel is in a quite area but only a 5 minute walk into the bars and restaurants of the area, although the hotel is on the flight path of the airport with the runway at the top of the street the noise is only limited with only about dozen aircraft a day coming in but this may be different in high season and flights ended around 2100hrs.The hotel itself is a nice place to stay with facilities which will make your holiday very pleasant. The rooms are basic but adequate with a very small hob,refrigerator, bathroom and balcony, wardrobe, safe. Most people ate out as the utensils in the room didn't make it easy to cook a decent meal ( only 1 proper pan ,no tin opener , no glasses ) but we managed to make toast or a bacon sandwich as we don't have a large breakfast ,but wouldn't have been able to cook a evening meal.The pool area is very nice with plenty of sunbeds available but remember we went in October when the area is getting ready to shut down so may be busy in summer. Adjoining the hotel is the bar and restaurant Delight which is run by Alex and his lovely family and staff where you can get a good selection of food and drink throughout the day and evening.We never went in for breakfast so I cannot comment on its quality but ate at lunchtime every day and also a few evenings with the quality of food being very good and reasonably priced. Prices wise a pint of mythos was £4.50 , a can of kopperburg £5 ,burger/ hotdog and fries around £7 , the prices in town have also risen so you no longer get a cheap holiday these days with most places beer around £4 to £5 apint and a meal for 2 around £40 , cocktails are between 6 and 7 pounds.

Great hotel great staff pool bar was great too girl on front desk was fantastic she couldn’t do enough for us Bathroom was very dated and air on expensive but had a great holiday The noise from the planes did wake us up at first but you do get used to it and if it wasn’t for them we would have slept too late most mornings as the blackout curtains did their job so well

Basic hotel for self catering.You have a kettle toaster and 2 cooking rings. And a fridge.there was only 2 saucepans no frying pan and it was the only self catering I've been in that didn't provide a tea towel.we were in a one bed apar**ent.318 in B block which overlooked the pool.the apar**ent was spacious and clean. They were cleaned every other day it had a large balcony but the bathroom was on the small side..pool area was clean and the garden well kept.when we arrived we we're checked in quickly and shown to our room.we didn't need air con we got a key for the safe.the staff we're friendly and delight bar and restaurant was reasonably priced and the food very good.it is at the end of the runway so expect some noise.But it didn't bother us.its just over a five minute walk to the beach.And 10 minutes to the *****.there is a supermarket over the road.And the airport lounge is over the road so you can watch the planes come in and take off.we had a lovely meal at the sizzle and grill which I would recommend and if you want live music the venue bar does tribute acts.I would go again it's in a good location and only 10 minutes from the airport it is 15 euros to and from the airport and the taxi rank is at the hotel next door the lourdos beach I really enjoyed my stay and would go again.the only thing that bothered me was the mosquitoes my husband was bitten all down his back.so take plenty of spray.

This hotel is mainly self catering can opt for bed & breakfast but there are many mini markets on the main ***** 10 minutes walk with lots of choice The hotel is clean with studio apar**ents or 1 bedroom apar**ents Lovely pool and 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach

We stayed at the macedonia for 10 excellent nights, from arriving and being greeted by the lovely friendly Stella on reception, our room was overlooking the pool and immaculately manicured gardens. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel, the self catering facilities are very basic but we only used kettle and toaster. The hotel is at the end of Zante runway so planes fly very low past the hotel usually starting around 07 - 00 am but after a while you get used to them Just up the road is the airport cafe serving a great breakfast
